has any1 successfully burned this? spruce up wont take the .m2v file, which is on a 296MS delay...whats the deal here?

Rip in movie mode with Smart ripper
strip unwanted sound and subtitles,
create new menu,write with prassi or spruceup. did 2 copies tonight without a hitch.

when u say strip unwanted, whats that mean...i was just choosing the main movie file and 6CH AC3 sound....to EXTRA FILE on both....spruce up wont load my .M2V.....and it says theres a delay....what do i do?

when i did the smart ripper spruce up method it imported in spruce up but all that would show was the warning screen. the file was big but i press play and then it would play the warning at the begining of the movie then it would stop.?

dont know where your problem is, I ripped mine in movie mode, same as you, and just left the 6 chnnel sound with it.
renamed them both Pie

PIE.ac3
PIE.m2v

put those 2 files in their own folder, when I import the m2v file, the ac3 follows it in by default

so all I can suggest is try ripping it again, I have done about twenty movie,s using the above method and touch wood.

not one failure.

just a thought, when you click to extra file, highlight one at a time
the video click extra file

then highlight ac36ch then click extra file

mine wont load the ac3 file jus the m2v file. before i renamed the ac3 file it saaid somthin about a delay on the filename??? this is also for american pie 2

when you get to smart ripper click on chapter 1 and remove cell 1 from chapter 1 . after i did that it loads the m2v file now if i could only figure out why it aint loading the audio file. im figuring its the same reason but i cant figure how to get the delay off the audio file

yes, spruce up will load my audio, but not my video. and the warning screen plays but the sound goes. its also on a -296ms DELAY...how did u guys fix this? ive tried ripping 10times already...same result...

im trying to rip again with taking the cel l1 out....it doesnt say delay anymore and ill let u know if it works for me in spruce up.

yes i finally made a working copy! jus take cell 1 out and when you rename the m2v and ac3 files jus name them like this

pie
dont enter.ac3 and.m2v it know what the files are already since your jus renaming them this worked for me it took about 4 tries till i finally got to a good working copy using the method i jus stated. good luck
