What is the cheapest ISP in the UK at the moment?
I only need an Off-peak, standard service, no broadband etc. My local library has 6 PC’s with free access so I don’t want to be paying too much, just need to check emails and ebay of an evening occasionally.
When I was last connected from home I was paying £5.99 per month with Freeserve (Off-peak). This was fine but then the prices went up. Even BT local call rates for pay as you go have risen and soon accumulate.
Does anyone know of any cheap Off-peak or Pay-as-you-go packages?
All opinions greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks…Secoast

Oh dear, you are right m8. :(
Fair play to them in a way though for not compromising the current service by signing up too many members. The £14.99 a month service is still an option though.
Check back with them in a week and they may have increased their bandwidth and made the cheap one available again.

Thats the problem though.. have it too cheap and you get too many users that slows down the network. I tend to never go with the cheapest has they probably wont be there in 12 months time.

Word of warning with regards to Gio. Have been with them for the last 6 months and the service has gone downhill big time. It takes ages to connect most of the time - especially evenings, they have a 1 hour cut-off and never answer your e-mails. I am cancelling and looking elsewhere, hence my other post.
If you think it is just me having problems go here: http://www.ispreview.co.uk
