ive burned games on cdrw with no problem, i ripped a game burn it on a dvd with no problem cause it was in dvd format already. but i get a downloaded game to burn on a dvd, i heard u was suppose to use recordnow max or prassi, neither one of those reads my hp 200i even with the file upgrade. i heard u can use nero but what setting do i use with nero for either the iso or just the files, any help would be apprecitated.

Hmmm, so you got the px engine upgrade for Prassi and still didn't see the HP? How about if you goto HP's site and see if they have any udates?

That's wierd that you can rip and burn onto DVD but you can't burn a downloaded game onto the DVD? Why is that. What are you using to burn the DVD that you ripped. Just use the same one to burn the game you downloaded.

Just burn global image in Prassi or other image files, same with Nero

when i burn a ripped game, i still wouldnt be able to burn it if it wasnt for daemon tools, the first time i just tried to burn the dvd like i did the cdrws, it didnt work, so i just use daemon to mount the iso to an imaginary drive, then i used the burning program that came with it to just make any "exact copy", so i dont really know what options there were. as something else that is strange, prassi will read the drive only inside the wizard, but i cant put all the options on from the wizard. any help?

You don't need to use the wizard, just cancel out of that. Then you can do all your stuff. So if Prassi can see your drive and burn for you, everything should be fine.

you dont understand, the drive is only selectable through the wizard with recordnow max, its not list outside of the wizard at all, and my mistake, it doesnt read through the wizard with prassi, only recordnow max, arent they the same, but anyway, it doesnt show up outside the wizard.

oh, ok......Record Max is by Veritas also right? Well, I would get the Prassi/Record max px engine update, and maybe check for others? When your first post said even with the update. Meaning update for the HP200i or for Prassi or RecordMax.

If that doesn't make the program see your drive, I dunno then. Because Prassi would not see my 104 before I used the PxEngine update

yea i meant the px engine update, it doesnt do anything for me. anyone know any nero settings? also i have recordnow max 3.0 im currently downloading 4.0 to see if it helps.

crap, no.... ya maybe 4.0 has the ability to see more drives. Good luck
