kaine Oct 04, 2002, 02:08 PM I also use them for 56k connection and they are good but not all areas can get broadband because they are too far from the exchange. I am one of them unfortunatley

they took £94 then £52 then another £49 for 3months usage of unmetered.next when i phone em to ask em whats going on and make a deal out of it they say they'll refund me.before i know it they send me a letter asking me to pay them and update my credit card details otherwise they'll cut me off.stay away from these con men.

However, I have had pipex dsl for the past 3 months, and it is highly recommended.

i bought the same modem for £41 and signed up to www.virgin.net
the charges r £24.99 per month and at the minute the 'one-off activation fee' is only £39.99 as part of virgins special offer. u can also cancel at anytime which instead of the 12 month contract that freeserve & pipex do.
