does your tv have a component video input? the coupled red and white rcas go in the audio right and left. The blue, green, and red inputs go into the corrosponding color input. Dont forget the optical cable if your home theater is 5.1

This isn't rocket science....

Look on the back of your TV. Plug each of the cables into the corresponding connections on the TV. (red to red, blue to blue, etc..) Switch the TV to component input (which is usually via a button on the remote or front of the TV). Turn on the X-BOX....

well my tv is similar i think
heres how i connected mines

the colors of the wire i used: Blue,Green, red and red, white

for the first set, Blue Green Red i plugged them in the section of the back of the tv and then place the other red and white in another section labeled video 2.

But what seems different is that you have an extra dark blue wire, im not really sure what its for but i try to see if its any different than the regular blue one.

The ones labeled CR, CB, & Y are your component video. The other red and blue I would assume are for audio.

Well here's another smart answer and hopefully you'll figure out your problem.

Three of the leads are obviously similiar therefore they are the video leads and that means the last two are the audio leads. Anyone just looking at the closeup picture at the link below could obviously tell the two audio leads on top from the three video leads below.

does it make you feel better to come here and belittle people that are new to things? it must make you fell like such a big person. i'm sure you needed help a few times before. i hope others weren't so rude to you.

i'm sure if you just spent $4000 on a tv you wouldn't want to just plug any wire in any slot to test if its the right one. i would like to be sure what i'm doing before i break something. thanks for all the unneeded comments QWERTY.

everyone that posted i appreciate the help.

Did you get a Projection HDTV mitsu 65"? I assume it is since it's 65".

I wouldn't play on that. Read up on the post that people have had on playing XBox on a projection TV. They got burn in on the lamps and screen. Everything appears either green tone or red tone.

Read page 7 of your XBox manual. They don't recommend playing games on Projection, if you read the manual on the TV, I am sure it says the samething.

Play at your own risk.
