i have installed a soundcard on my pc zoltrix nightingale pro 6
os win98 the soundcard plays fine with the software supplied with the card and i installed directx 8 and it now plays fine with winamp but there is no sound in windows media player and jiao mpeg player so i have to keep changing my speaker socket every time i want to watch a film plz help

do u get the volume bar where u can adjust the volume in the mediaplayer? if the bar disapear, that means u need a codec (plugin) to be able to get sound.

no m8 the volume bar is still there and no sound on any other application accept winamp and the softwarethat came with the soundcard
