Is it possible to add a USB external Harddrive to an xbox, and use it for emu's, backups, mediaplayer, etc.?

I dont really need a dock. I have a 40gb external HD. Theoretically you could build a controller port-to-USB port adapter. The problem is no XBox software exist that supports a USB harddrive so you would have to write your own. Secondly, the ports are usb v1.1 so the transfer speed would be too slow to effectively play games from. |
