it doesn't contain details of the model i'm after.i actually need to find out if theres any faults with some like dvd compatibility problems random hanging dead pixels,inverter lifetimes ie detailed tech info

If you are, I'm quite sure this isn't a laptop, it MUST be a desktop for that price £380, even though it is in the Notebook section.

I also found it on another site in amongst Notebooks but no pictures.

The only Acer Aspire models I can find are all desktops, but I couldn't find the 8500.

There is also a P4 2.0GHz version for £620.


The only mention of an Acer Aspire 8500 I can find with a picture is this PDF Document:
