hi y'all

does anyone know of an ISP in london which will do broadband connections for around £15???

also, it seems with my experience using broadband, it sometimes takes as much time to download something as it does with a 56K connection. Why is that??? i need to know how many types of broadband connections there are

thanks!

well for £15 what do you expect m8

for £15 i know that ntl do a 128k service, but dont know if they have that in london

telewest do a 512 service for £25 and a couple do it for £20

the only way it 'takes as much time to download something as it does with a 56K connection.' is if the site your are on has set a max download rate or is a crap site or crap bb isp-as noway does a 56 k modem compare in the slightest to a broadband connection

I'm going to move this to the Consumer's Opinion forum for you.
