I am thinking of getting a drum machine (yamaha dd55) (v nice ;)) and was wondering if i can output the sound to an amp or something similar because some of my mates want me to jam with them at the local pub sessions.

It has a headphone out socket (3.5mm) and also a midi IN/OUT.

Is such a product available and how much will it cost?

you should be able to hook it up straight to an amp or PA sound system through the headphone port.
