Ok, came home tonight to burn a few discs on Nero and when I open it up, this message appears:

“Under Windows NT4/2000 burn rights are required by Nero to access cd recorders and cd-rom/dvd drives. Please ask your system administrator for a permission to use Nero”

Ok, I can not burn anything. What does this all mean? I am really lost.

You need to log into win 2k/xp/nt as administrator and give write access of cdrw to the account that you're using or just log in as admin and burn from there.
