ive twice had to completly reboot and reinstall all my software ...because nero wont work ...i think theres a virus or something on this forum ...or a cover site ...does any one else had same prob....let me know?

nero wont work with winxp with out updates

Nero works fine for me as it has done for years and I visit this forum everyday also as I have done for years.

works fine for me 2 . my copy came with my cd-rw and ive no probs with xp !!!!!

Do you mean you'r having problems with windows / other software or just nero.

Maybe your burner just isn't supported by Nero, try to get some technical Support From "Ahead" (the company that makes Nero)

Actually the latest version is v 5.5.9.14. I have run just about every version since v4.05 without any major issues.

swd1962 ; are you shure your not trying to run ez cd creater as well
if you are there is your problem, they will not work together on the same machine

Easy CD and Nero should work fine together on the same machine.

I've run nero and EZ CD Creator on the same machine for about a year now without any problems. They work fine together :).

The issues I was thinking was that his version of Nero may not work with xp as I do not use nero I would not know.

what windows platform are you using,and whats the make of your writer.only problems i have had is with my plextor when i have tried to over burn with nero,though this does not happen all the time.
i also read somewhere that some people wer e experiencing problems with nero on some systems with msi boards and xp processors.does your system have any of this hard ware,oh yes these systems were using .windows xp
