Switched to Windows XP from 98SE whoo!!! All day process of just updating drivers! I need to learn how to make sure I'm converted to NTFS and I'm not still using Fat32. and if using fat 32 how to switch to NSTFS. Clicked on contol panel then preformanance and maintenance then Admininistrative tools then Computer management Then disk management There it states in the file coloum That the drives are fat 32. So I believe I need to change to NTFS But for the life of me can't figure out how to change to NTSF from this window. Right click one of the drives then click on format
Here I get a window that has a volume label box below this a file system box with NTSF highlighted then below that two choices: perform quick format or enable file and folder compression. Being scared to death when it comes to formating so I'm not experimenting here! Thanks for any help in advance! :clown:
