Have just installed InCD 3.21. it seems to write files directly to an appropriately formatted CD-RW disc when I choose to save to that drive in Word (for instance). However, if I drag files in Explorer onto my inCD formatted CD-RW, then it goes back to the deafult XP behavior, saying that I have files ready to be written to CD, but they have not actually been written to CD. If I choose to "write these files to CD" from the file menu in explorer, then it states that I do not have a disk in the drive! I have disabled the IMAPI service in XP as I have Nero 5.5.7.2 installed.
I thought a packet writing application would allow drag and drop in explorer, and would write files to the CD when the files are dropped. Am I missing something here? Do I need to enable the IMAPI service for inCD to behave properly?
Thanks in advance.

I have figured out the solution..... First, un-install InCD. Then, log off and then back on. Right click your cd writer icon in explorer and choose properties. Then, choose the recorder tab and clear the check box to disable cd writing on the drive, (this does not actually disable cd writing on the drive, but it does stop the Win XP routines to allow you to use InCD properly). The recorder tab does not appear on the drive properties when InCD is installed. I am not sure whether you need to disable the IMAPI service to do this. I had disabled it and this solution worked for me.
