I just bought the neo 2.6 for my v4 its a brand new ps2 and the neo 2.6 boots only a few games and then they freeze the other games don't even boot at all and i was wondering what is wrong I know the laser isnt bad and i was wondering if anyone would be able to tel me what may have happened could it be the soldering is bad thats what 2 people have speculated please someone that is good with the neo 2.6 please help me out it would be greatly appriciated thank you very much i know alot of you on this board like to help people in need as I have done in the past thanks.

might be a bad burn, try and re burn at 1x

have you tried using both method 1 and method 2 of the neo 2.6? Use method 1 for games that are most likely under the TOC limit and use method 2 for games that might be over the TOC limit or if its scratched or if it might be a bad burn.
It would be more helpful if you explain when it freezes, does it freeze at the loading screen after you swap or during the game?
