I heard something about being able to play PS1 backups, on a PS2 without a modchip or a gameshark. Is this true? or was I having a crazy dream??:confused:

well you would at least need the bonus disc that comes with the PS2 Gameshark. Read up on knife trick from either CousinFizz's site or mine and youll be fine.

it would be soooo much easier just to get a modchip... do yourself a favor and get one~ knifetrick... do you really wanna take a knife to ur precious ps2 :laugh:

If PS1 backups are the only copies you want to play then get yourself a relatively cheap modchip. They are easy to install (1, 3, or 8 wires)
