Hey, for some reason recently whenever i try to load something like Internet explorer nothing will happen and I have to wait a while for it to load, and when i have 2 or 3 windows open (things like Internet explorer not progs that take up alot of memory) the comp will freeze for about 30secs when i try to change websites or something, is there any way to fix this?
I am using win 2000 pro with amd athlon 1.3ghz and 256MB ram.

Ok I've norrowed it down to just internet explorer. When i try to open it, it just sits there for a while and does nothing, then it opens after a while. same as when i click on a link, or try to open a new page.
Ive tried a repair and installed IE 6 but still no luck. any ideas?

any ideas anyone, this is starting to REALLY annoy me :(
