Hi there - it's been a while I know
A friend is trying to troubleshoot a Plextor 16/10/40A. He's updated the firmware and fiddled with the ASPI layer but Windows 2000 keeps asking for drivers, which it obviously shouldn't. (I know the drive doesn't work under Windows98 either but I don't know if it asking for drivers).
Has anybody seen this before? I've never seen an OS ask for drivers for an IDE CD-RW drive.
