Why is the tripod homepage builder makek my homepage only about 70% of the width of my screen? How can I make my homepage the full width of the screen? It's just too narrow as it is now.

...or can anyone recommend a good, FREE hompage site? I like tripod because the URL is right easy to remember and tell people about.

What resolution do you run at? Does this happen to all websites or just this tripod one?

becuz you are using the design of tripod websites, if you want it to be a full screen one, then you have to learn how to build your own webpage using the html code with notepad or so, that's the basic...

or you can use programs like dreamweaver or frontpage or so, which is really really confuising....

but the basic things to learn the html codes is to open up the source codes of an already built website, for examples, you can right click on this website and choose view sorce or you can go to view on top the go back bar near the edit button and choose source

then it will open up the whole webpage in html codes for you in a notepad..., then try to edit this page, but this page has two much things in it, find a simple website with less button, words or so and try to edit it..... that is an easier way to learn html codes...

once you have done with those, save it as .html extenstion and upload it up to your account using filemanger or so...

but even if you do those thing, they will still automatically put the banner in your websites on the top, which is sux but mine doesn't has it becuz i use the no-script-plain-text-html-codes, lol :D!!! :D
