Can anyone help me with this error message fron windows 2000.

Everytime I trime to Hotsynch my Sony Clie pda with my Pc through the usb port windows crashes to a blue screen and gives a message :-
Driver Irql not less than or equal..

I have tried the pda on another computer and it was ok..
any help would be appreciated
