when i open nero it wont open and its telling me a nother aplitcation is using burning engine ...imapi

close other application and try again.
but nothings using nothing lol

how many burning programs you have installed? don't install multiple program it's not healthy for your computer.

Go to Administrative Tools from Control Panel then Services. In there you'll find IMAPI Burner service (or something similar). Disable it and your problems will end. You may find Nero runs a lot quicker and smoother as well.

IMAPI is Microsoft's own burning service which, I think, is used with Media Player.

They've conquered the OS market, they've had a go at cornering the internet browser market and now they're going for the burning software sector! I hates Micro$oft! :)
