When I put a disk into my d: or e: I can open it up and see what files (mp3) are on the disk but if I click on one of the files and then right click to try and copy the files I just get the old egg timer and eventually a "not responding" message.

This also happens if I even try and play the file.

Any ideas on what the problem is :confused:

We are talking CD's here aren't we? Is the problem with just one disc or many?

It's only a couple of CD's which sort of answers my own question. I suppose the disk is shagged! Is there anyway around this?
