My computer keeps on coming up with random different errors, it sometimes restarts itself and it bugs me, i have run various virus scans, disk checks, which is the most thorough method of checking my hard drive, is there any programms out there that could help me out as my computer is fecked up!

running ex, errors are mostly different ones, and it just turns itself off sometimes, any ideas, next time i get an error, i will make note of it and let u know what it says!

if you look in the event viewer it will tell you when all the errors occured and what they were (start/control panel/admin tools/event viewer)

If it turns off by itself it could be a power supply problem. But the Operating System should be checked first. What's ex? Windows XP? Trying running disk defragmenter and the go to: Start, Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt and type chkdsk /f - this will run check disk and see if theres problems with the hard drive.

Looks like a memory problem to me. With the random errors and the shutting down it's most likely a memory failure.
