jap gamecube playing black & white on tv

ok i have a jap gamecube,

but it seems to be playing black & white on my tv,

i think i need a pal convertor or a vga box,

what would you advice is the best out of the 2?

also wheres the cheapest place to buy them???

I have a device that you connect anything to via av cables and it makes the NTSC picture into PAL so plays in colour, I can sell you it for £10 if you want, cost me £25, please LMK

i think u need the scart lead ?rgb

It says that the RGB cable can only be used with a PAL Gamecube, not a US/JAP one so pretty useless.
