I would like to know how I am suppose to make copies of the sims games, in particular the sims living large and the sims house party. I believe they are suppose to have safedisk 2 protection or something. What is the best way of getting around that or just copying the games?
I have a LG 24x10x40x
I have CloneCd, Nero, Ez Cd, & CDRwin hopefully I have the programs needed.

Out of those programs, use Clone CD. Enable FES for reading and write in RAW DAO.
I'm pretty sure that your drive fully supports SafeDisc2, so you should have no problems.
SafeDisc2 games generally contain an ATIP check so copies won't run in a CDRW drive, at least not without something like Clone CD's hide CDR enabled.

Thank you very much..
Btw,
Would it be better to use my burner to read? and What speed do you recomend reading at? 4x?
How would I go about adding the hide cdr option or will it automatically become hidden?

I recommend reading at the fastest speed that works, which for me is 32x as this is the fastest my Plextor reads. Takes around 2-3mins to read a SD2 CD at that speed on my drive.
Then around the same to burn at 40X... Why waste time reading and writing slower if you don't have to?? Watch out for any additional read errors though.
Burners are generally faster at skipping errors than other drives, however there would be exceptions.
If you have to ask whether you should read it with your burner or not, then you obviously don't need hide CDR.

Okay, thanks for the info.. I got it to burn okay, but it would not boot directly without a safedisk unwrapper. oh well. Least it works thanks again!
