Whats the best reader (either straight cd, cdr burner or preferable dvd) to read copy protection from cds in order to burn them. I'm gettimg a new system and want to be able to safedisk 1 & 2 and as manny other copy protections as possible. I'm also looking for sugestions on burners both cdr and dvd. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

It is a good idea to check out the list of recommended readers and burners over at Clonecd`s homepage, www.elby.de
For the fastest of those, check out www.cdspeed2000.com
Hope this gives you some ideas. :)

the teac cd540e drive is superb, you can update the firmware and download a utility to change the DAE speed to in excess of 30X!!!!
The only snag is that it doesn't work very well in XP as it does with 98/se
if there is a compatible xp update then theres no question!
