Hello all,

It looks as if I have found my first game that recognizes the mod chip (Xecuter). I use EVOX and XBCOPY with a 120GB hard drive and until today have had no problems. The game starts with sound, but no video ever comes, and that is from the original!! Thus Timesplitters 2 with the Xecuter requires a patch to function correctly. Is this the beginning, or have I just been lucky so far?

You mean a backup of TS2 needs a patch, right?

Yes, either you will need a bypass switch installed to play the original or a patch installed to play the backup.

I guess I was just paranoid and so here I am with foot in mouth, but hey when I'm wrong I admit it and learn from it. The game doesn't need a patch, and there was no higher plot for anti-mod developed with this game. The Enigma PAL/NTSC switcher does the trick just fine!!
