Are you sure you're not Simulating the burn??

YES IT SIMULATES THEN ASKS BURN TO DISC I SAY YES AND IT COPIES BUT
WHEN FINISHED AND VERIFIED OK
TURNS OUT BLANK AND CAN NOT BE READ ON PC OR THE SPARE PC WITH NORMAL 52X CD-ROM

I dont know anything about your particular drive but Nero doesn't normally default to Simulate & Burn on drives which support a variation of Buffer Underrun Technology.


I would uncheck the Simulate box and go straight for a burn, theres no point simulating on a CDRW anyway as it can be written over.

Try it with a plain CD-R, go straight for a burn.

I cant think of any settings you may be getting wrong with Nero, it's normally quite foolproof but look for things like "Close Session and leave disk open" or close Disk, either are okay but if you do not close the session of the disk it will not be able to be read.

i use the wizard to create discs that Simulates & Burns
tried straight burn. still same could the problem be discs or ASPI-driver
i've rebooted pc and re-installed nero and tried with setup defaults
it sounds as the later of your above (software problem??)

hi i have been investigating all possiblities changed aspi and things
now works on other cd-rw but not the tdk cd-rw discs so i think it might be overburnt at sometime without knowing what i was doing at the time when using nero so i have decided to away tdk's
