I have an unchipped xbox. Can I watch backup Dvdr movies, I have the dvd kit for the xbox. I have tried various discs inc. whitelabel, datasafe gen3 but cant get the xbox to recognise them. What am I doing wrong. I am burning the dvdr using nero.

sorry m8 you cant play dvdr films with unchipped xbox.only originals.chip it up m8 5 minutes to install x-ecuter only £30 to £35.

DVD-R movies can be played on an un-chipped box, burn your movies with prassi Primo DVD and they should work fine, NERO causes to many problems were DVD is concerned.

Ya, DVD-R can be played on unmodded XBox. I have tons that I played before I gotten it modded, you just need the remote kit.

After modded you can use DVDx2 if you dont have the remote kit

me 2 ive played loads of dvdrs 2x 1x , infact it plays dvdrs better than my tosh sd210e , :) and its unchipped , m8ty wot version is yours it should tell you a date underneath ,

ya just use Primo DVD and it should work.

Used primo and movie only plays through halfway then freezes. The xbox is one of the earlier models, any to do with this.

i've got movies burnt on cheap unbranded disks and they work brill
