HOWDY Y'ALL
i have installed several chips in ps ones scph 101.
but this one will not power up.
i made all connections exactly like the others made sure
nothing was crossed over, went to try it out andno power
light. i know it is probably fried but was wondering if anyone
had any suggestions i might try. and what i might of done to
cause this.

try removing the chip and then powering? If not, you've probably fried the power part of the psx.
But if the light comes on, then you've probably fried the mainboard.
Do remove the chip and try it again.
