I have been copying data from 3 1/2 floppies to 1 cd-rw, but I want to be able to manipulate the data like I was able to on the floppies. For example, copy,paste,delete,modify,save,re-entry, and so on tothe cd rw.
I have been having problems doing this. I can erase the whole disc with all the info on it, but I don't want to! I just want to erase 1 file only, not the whole disc and be able to access the files on the disc again to modify them and save it again. How do I do this? I don't want to erase the whole disc to save 1 file again. What should I do? I have been using Prassie Primo CD Plus, this program allows me to drag and drop files one at a time to record from other drives/discs, but I want to be able to delete, save again a file that I work on to the cdrw. Why won't it allow me to delete the same file that I added to the list? :furious:  Please if anyone knows please tell me:(

You need to use some kind of packet writting software such as DirectCD or InCD.

Does your drive support Mt.Rainier??

Thanks for your answer:) I don't have Mt.Rainier and I don't know what that is? (please explain to me) my cdrw have been burned already will INcd recognize them? I will try it. Thank you;)

Erase the CDRW then Format it with InCD. You can then drag & drop files to the disc & erase individual files. Be warned that Formatting the disc chews up a good chunk of space on the disc, around 100meg from memory.
