When I play vgs on my P4 (with patch and everything) and my Athlon 533, the sound always skips. I have an Avance AC'97 audio...could anyone help me solve this problem?

Are you saying you have played VGS on 2 computers? they both have Avance Ac'97 sound? I have seen your soundcard listed in the FAQ page of some games... Battlefield 1942 etc... as causing sound problems in the games. You could try getting newer soundcard drivers. I suggest you try another soundcard to see if that is the cause of your problem... borrow one from a friend, see if it helps. Assuming you have a friend ;)

Lol...it worked fine when I just got my computer, but when I had to reformat it, that's when the skipping started to occur...I think I need new drivers for it, but I don''t know where to get them...
