I got this Acer 20 speed burner. Worked fine for a year, burned around 100 discs.
Now all of a sudden it has problems reading data, reads very slowly, has to search longggg, makes a sound like a boeing-747 sometimes.
Has it died???? Or any suggestions to help left?
I already tried cleaning the laser with alcohol.
(Maybe no relation, but it gave these problems right after re-installing windows 98 SE
