hi,

ive searched the forum thoroughly before posting and have seen this question come up many times but the only answer people seem to get is www.karokeplayground.com - ive looked there as well but cant find a definite answer.

I'm expecting some mp3g files tomorrow and want to know if i can convert them to cdg. I then want to burn to vcd - i know how to burn to vcd. but at the moment it looks like im gunna have to convert mp3g to bin then burn to cdg (waste a disc) then burn to vcd - finished product. is this correct. or can i convert mp3g>cdg>vcd. so that the cdg stays on the hard drive without being burned to disc.

Cheers.

Use TMPgenC to recombine the video with the audio.

An mpeg will be created that can be played in WMP, or burned to VCD with Nero.

You can get the software from www.vcdhelp.com

Thanks for the help - the one piece of information I was missing was that the cdg file is still a cdg file when compressed to mp3g. Once i figured this out it was plain sailing.
