Whenever I try to play a game that involes the Interstate 88 level the game freezes on the loading screen. This means I can't progress through the game at all! The 1st face off won't load because of this! Its really pissing me off, I've tried using the 2nd disc instead and that don't work. Does anyone elses copy do this or do I have a bad copy? I'm using the 2 disc CD-r version, not the DVD-r.

All you can try is to re burn them onto different brands of disk at a slow speed.

It gets as far as the loading screen with the flag in the background. The flag stays moving but the PS2 stops trying to load after about a minute and it just hangs on the loading screen.
It only seems to happen on the Interstate 88 level, it doesn't matter if its the face off or just a single race, it just won't load!

Must be a dodgy copy mate. Get another and personnally I'd get the DVD-r.

What are you booting with and the version of your PS2 will help too. If you are booting with a Neo 2.2 and have a version 4 PS2 there is a very good boot method that I can help you with that will solve the problem... let me know... and all of us for that matter. ;)

the first copy i got did the same as yours m8
but the second copy i got loaded fine but it loses
graphics sometimes .

but i aint bothered i finished now.

get another copy m8.

re burn at 1x with decent media mate

I'm using a V5 PS2 modded with a messiah.
Looks like I'm gonna have to get another copy cos I reburned it and it does the same thing!
Just wondered if anyone else had the same glitch.
