Has anyone used one of these? I'm wondering how it works. Do you need to have a label on the CD, or does it burn a laser image onto the disc itself? I need to find out more about this because if it does what i'm hoping it'll be a must have. I can't imagine how it could work w/o possibly damaging the reflective layer on some discs. Maybe u can only use certain discs? Anything you know would be helpful, and especially anyone who has used one...i'd really like to hear from you.
Thanks...

CDRInfo did a review on it some time ago when the drive first came out. You might want to have a read of that.

I tis called T@2. What is does is take an image that you have made, and burn it in the unused part of a cd-r. So if you have afull cd, it doesnt help you at all. What yamaha did was create a more powerful laser that was so fast that it could burn at these speed and still have accuracy. It is a cool idea if you burn a lot of small sized cd's so you can label and put your mark on them.

I have one of these (yamaha CRW-F1 series) and it is the best frikin writer ever.
I've got loads of disks with cartoons etc on them and i burnt the name of the cartoon along with the pictures of characters onto the data side so it just looks cool.
