buy one dvd+r and make a burn - see what happens. some ps2's read +r, others dont

as for a dvd+r burning to a dvd-r, i doubt it

Yep, bleepster is right..

Just try one and see if your PS2 is capable of reading the DVD+r disc type, quite a few people have had success but others haven't...

Your DVD+r burner will NOT burn DVD-r.. They write differently to the disc. UNLESS it says it can in the specs.. some of the newer drives that are coming out ( Sony have one! ) can write to ALL formats. ( DVD-r, DVD+r, DVD-Ram, e.t.c.. you get the picture! )

You can't put a -r disk in a +r drive.

cheers people,i did copied red faction for texter onto a dvd+r and my ps2 read it,untill it went to load the main game then said disc errror,so does that mean that the games will work on dvd+r? or does it need patching?
