Hi all,
I am trying to setup my own FTP site. I downloaded Serv-U FTP Server software. However, I am not sure how to setup my host IP address.

I have high speed Cable service (ip 68.36.124.73) that is connected to my (Asante) router. Now the Ip address I get for my computer is 192.168.123.198, I know that ip was assigned to me by the router.

I tried setting the domain ip address to 68.36.124.73, but that dont work. If I set it up as 192.168.123.198, only computers within the network have acess to my share files.

What setting sdo I need to make on the router?

Someone please help. Thanks!!!

BTW, I tried running a seacrch on this site about FTP. However the keyword FTP is too short.

You can't ask in the ps2 forum, try asking in the computer forum.
