In an earlier post today someone said that there was a boot method to boot 80 min CD-RS with a no-mod and you had to like hold down the reset button while ejecting or something like that and i think it scewed up my NO solder mod because now when i go to hold reset to swap disks the light doesnt turn orange it goes red and shuts down the PS2 what happened? I already opened my ps2 to see if the MOD chip was out of place but everything was right and it still wont work??????

You should have known there no way to boot 80min games with a GS2, cause its not the mod that won't let it boot, its the GS2.

Your Problem: When you hold reset, it suppose to put the PS2 on standby, do game still boot?

no games dont boot cuz when i hold reset all it does is turn off the ps2 and go to a gray screen on my tv? when i tried to hold reset and eject and that stuff do u think it set something on my ps2 wrong or what? so basically my mod chip doesnt work anymore and its all plugged in right?

Doesnt the no solder work with pressing EJECT??? not reset? i know cause i have one.

I've got a neokey and u can boot 80min CDs with a Swap Magic disc.

there you can apply patches to the PS2 games over 630mb so that they will play on your system :O)

very easy and there they have tons of patches and a easy forum for help.

the games work great. thats what i do, i also have a v4 no solder mod. but i am upgrading very soon.
