Hi,

Can anyone help please.
Have ripped a few DVD's with Smartripper but when I come to rip files that are over 5 gigs by the movie method, it only gives me a file size of 4.19 gigs, so in other words the whole movie has not been ripped.
I know you can rip it other ways but I find this way the easiest.
I have got the max file setting at 9999 in the setup for Smartripper.

Thanks for your help.

Are you using an NTFS file system as used by Windows XP or FAT32 as used by some O/S`s (95/98/ME) which limits file size.

Let us know which Operating System you`re using.

thats probably right......smartripper may say the movie is 5 gb....but when you demux the movie and audio files and leave the other crap you might only have two files adding up to 4.19 gb.

open a dos box and type

convert c: /fs:ntfs /v

Change the c to whatever your drive letter is.
