ok got a few questions for you guys i have done some copying in the past using nero mainly music but am now getting into the games my first question is really stupid but i just forgot the answer dooooh

1.when i download a patch for a game (update)do ya just run it or you gotta put it in file where game is

2.if i got a copied game from someone that has this protection on it can i just copy it again using clone

3.what is this safedisk and hide cdr all about

4.what is clony and clonyxxx what website will gimme these progs

5.i use nero whats the best settings for doing games i prosume you use the data icon but what settings need to be done

6.when i do copy using clone do i put the setting on allow subchannel reading of data and is there anything else

1) A game update you generally just run from where ever and it will search for the game and update it when found.

2) If you get a proper Clone of a game then you should consider it as an original when it comes to copying.

3) Newer versions of SafeDisc2 contain an ATIP check, this means that the protection can detect whether the copy you are running is on a CDR or original CD when the game is run in a CDRW drive. Hide CDR stops it from checking.

4) Ckiny XXL is a copy protection scanner, it scans a CD attempting to detect the protection used on it and gives you the correct settings to copy it using Clone CD.

5) I wouldn't use Nero to copy a game.

6) You only need subchannel data for certain protections.
