Ive tried to backup grand theft auto 3 for pc using cdr win and it does it (WITH LOTS OF ERRORS WHEN READING THE DISC) but when I then take it off my hard drive onto disc it wont play.
Ive backed up sony psx games before but this Is m first attempt to back up a pc game and im not having too much success.
am I missing some important step or knowledge or perhaps I need a patch

GTA3 is protected with SafeDisc2, so you are supposed to get read errors.
CDRWin is no good for 1:1 SD2 copies, you will either need to use another program such as Clone CD, CD Mate, Alcohol, BlindWrite, DiscDump, etc. or use a cracked EXE.

Also, creating 1:1 SD2 copies is somewhat dependant on your hardware.
