can anyone help me with a problem i have with my player - it plays almost all disks i throw at it but with dvdr's it has a problem playing the full film - ie jsut when its getting interesting ie about an hour in the film freezes - it seems to do it on different kinds of media as well so i cant really point a finger at that - i have a dvd cleaner which i have used a few times so i dont really know - anyone any ideas?

Definitely sounds like the media is being burnt at 2x and your player (like mine - YELO800) refuses to play these no matter what media they are burnt onto.
Only thing I can suggest is trying to get hold of films on 1x media only.

Mine locks up and skips sometimes when I play 2x burnt films on it.
