right guys im using this method:

DVD Decrypter v3.1.2.0
DVD2AVI v1.76
TMPGEnc Plus v2.56.39.143
ChapterXtractor v0.961
Spruce DVDMaestro v2.9.2915a
Gear Pro DVD 6.02 rc07

ok, ive done a film which was 5Gb and after i converted it all, it came to about 3.3Gb, so all went well,

but how to make the converted film better quality so it uses all of the space on a dvdr? if u know wat i mean?

what options do i need to change so the final converted film will be like 4.4Gb etc

cheers!

You need to change the bitrate in TMPGEnc.

you need a bitrate calculator which you can find on vcdhelp.com or doom9.org
or i think someone posted the maths quotation which is
4.3 minus the ac3 size divided by the video size multiplied by 100

Use the wizard in TMPGEnc that's what it's for. There is a section where you can pick the % of disc space used.
