hi i have a backup of 1942 for my pc. When i try and install it i get a message that the incorrect cd is in the drive. Do i need a no cd crack?
Any help would be appreciated

if you get the message when installing theres something wrong with the cd - if you get the message when trying to play the game then yes you will need a nocd crack.

Some games in the past have actually had protected setup EXE's however I see no reference to BF1942 having such protection.

As said there is most likely something wrong with your copy, such as perhaps an incorrect volume label.

Guys, I have Battlefield 1942 backup, but the 'fixed.exe' does not work....game crashes immediately upon execution :( Can someone please post me a link, send me an email for another copy of it ? I've checked gamecopyworld and they do NOT have a copy of this exe yet :(
