Okay... recently, my friend bought a few PC games (originals) such as:
Battlefield 1942
Unreal Tournament 2003
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2
Hitman 2 - Silent Assassin

He then decided he didn't want them (i think his computer didn't meet the system requirements), so he sold them to me for cheap (mainly because they were just the discs, with no box or CD-Key) [idiot threw them away]

I am now considering buying backups of these four games, because I don't want to use the original ones.

What I am wondering, is if these games will be fully playable on single AND multiplayer withought the correct CD-Key. These games are for my new computer (I don't have an internet connection on it yet), so I cant try to install or play the games online yet)

Or could I get a Key generator to use for the games? Keep in mind that this IS legal, because I actually own the ORIGINAL disc, so don't ***** about keygens being illegal. I just want to know if this will allow me to play these games online.
(If this is still against forum rules, please don't delete the topic. Just delete the last part)

I really need some help on this.

Thank you.

Keygens as a general rule do not generate valid keys for online play. For some games there maybe a way around it, but to discuss it here would be a breach of rules.

Also some of those games you listed use newer versions of securom and will require cracks as it is currently not possible to do 1:1 copies. This may also cause problems with playing online.

Also, I'm not deleting this, I'm just going to close it.
