Hi Guys,

My Xbox has the EvoX2.4 bios and 1.8.2812 EvolutionX dash. I have downloaded the new EvoX2.5 bios file and wish to update it on my Xbox.
Could someone please tell me if and how I can update my EvoX2.4 bios to EvoX2.5 bios. Do I need to pull the modchip out or solder some points on the motherboard or is it just a matter of copying the new bios to the hdd and going through the bios section in the EvolutionX dash???
I have had a look at some of the tutorial's and they aren't that informative to a newbie. Hopefully someone can help me out...

There should be some posts about it in the modchip forum, check there. Depending on what modchip you have. If you have the matrix it's simple.

Just a quickie, but whats the advantage of updating the bios from 2.4 to 2.5?

well the 2.4 has problems with the eject hack.just power up your system and go to flash and flash it with the bios you have in your bios folder on the c drive.ive got tons of bios in mine and the 2.5 colormod is cool.
