With Nero updating nearly every 3-4 weeks, I am not sure wether I should fork out for a registration. Anybody have any experience with VOB InstantCD/DVD?
I use a SCSI Plextor 12/10/32S and Sony's CD Extreme mostly for data, and Clean Plus V3.0 for audio.
Thanks in advance

VOB Instant CD is a good program. I have used it with a lot of success. However, if it comes down to a choice, then Nero wins out.

Not really sure why you are hesitant about shelling out the bucks for Nero. You do not have to pay for every minor upgrade. Most of the time you don't pay anything until a major revision is released. (ie..From version 5 to version 6)

A majority of CD burning software has continuous minor updates to their programs in order to update the code with the new burners that are being released. Since there are a steady stream of CD-RW's being released, hence the reason for so many updates.
