Yes, XBox will read it. DVD+R/RW cost more than -R/RW though. Yes, you can burn PS2 also.

You just have to find the brand of media that your particular XBox/PS2 likes

There is a new Sony Burner that has DVD-R/RW & DVD+R/RW. It's coming out soon I think. Not sure the HP would be bundling Sony drives :D

Try for popular name brand DVD+R/RW disks, get em at stores liek Bestbuy and CircuitCity.

I dunno, since I already have a 104, I didn't follow up to see if the Sony was out or not :P Guess it's out.

But back to the point, yes any better DVD+R/RW (usually more expensive name branded ones) would probably work best.

i have the hp dvd200i and can only get dvd+rw to work. i've tried the hp and memorex brands, both working flawlessly. on the other hand, i can't get the hp or memorex brand of dvd+r to work at all. i've already made 3 coasters of dvd+r's! i'm kinda scared to go out and buy another brand to try. these things are expensive...

thats no good. so you could only get dvd+rw discs to work and not dvd+rs? have you gotten any backups from people here? and what did you try the dvd+rs on? i would like to use them for modded xbox and ps2. once i get my new pc, ill be sure to stay away from the memorex dvd+rs.
