I finally recieved my Matrix chip the other day and flashed it with evoX 2.5 bios. I fitted it fine and burned evolutionX 1.8.458 to a CD-RW and loaded it up. It all worked fine. I put Evo-X on the HDD.

I used Evo-X Menu Editor to edit the config file for Evo-X and ftped it accross and it worked fine! I did it again because I added something else to the HDD and it now will not boot up to the dashboard.

I have tried to burn Evo-X to CD-RW again but the Xbox will now not read the CD-RW. I have reflashed the chip and still nothing works!!!

Can somebody please help me???

The only way to fix this I think is to reburn Evo-X again, like you tried.

I had a similar problem, eventually I tried some different CDRW media, and it worked.

cheers. Does the burning program eg. Nero, Primo etc. make any difference?

I have now tried at least 5 different types of CD-RW and still no luck!!! Will DVD-R or DVD+R definately work if I tried one of those???

I have used nero with CDRW and it works every time.

Looks like you will need to load boxplorer when you boot to fix problem.

If you are still stuck try using the goldbergModsNopcEvoxV2 to install evolution X
